Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineer, Event Race Live Applications at NASCAR in Concord, NC. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 3 years of software development experience with enterprise apps.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Node.js, AWS, and real-time streaming systems.
• Ability to lead projects, mentor juniors, and influence engineering direction.
• Strong cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, version control, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–15% including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and implement complex software using C# .NET, Node.js, and Go.
• Design, build, and support high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines and streaming systems.
• Maintain the race data platform, including WebSocket services and subscriber management.
• Build and operate scalable containerized apps in AWS with reliability and performance.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerts, and performance metrics for health and reliability.
• Lead software testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and strategy.
