Job summary

Sears Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Production Scheduler to optimize capacity and inventory to meet daily and weekly production requirements.

The role collaborates with Master Scheduler, material coordinators and line supervisors to execute schedules and address short-term adjustments. You will monitor progress, revise schedules as needed, notify customers when commitments change, and prepare routine reports.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with Master Scheduler and line supervisors.
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and order management parameters.

Responsibilities

• Assist Master Scheduler in schedule development and coordinate flow of work within or between departments to ensure on-time execution.
• Maintain real-time oversight of daily execution to schedules / work orders, prioritizing and resolving potential or existing issues.
• Work with Master Scheduler and Line Supervisors to make timely revisions to schedules and notify customers when commitments will not be met.
• Prepare daily / weekly / monthly reports.
• Ensure timely updates to inventory records when discrepancies are identified.
• Understand and make recommendations on system order management / production parameters affecting execution (e.g. cycle times, safety stock, policy windows).
