Job summary

ByLabs is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer in San Francisco to design and build low-latency real-time recommendation systems that personalize trading product discovery and content feeds. You will work on advanced ML techniques and develop predictive models to enhance user engagement and experiences.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in ML engineering, strong programming skills in Python, and must be bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively collaborate with teams across the Asia-Pacific region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in ML engineering or recommendation systems.
• Proven track record building real-time personalization systems.
• Strong knowledge of recommendation algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-latency real-time recommendation systems.
• Apply advanced ML personalization techniques.
• Develop predictive models for user churn and LTV.
• Build a full user lifecycle data and value system.
• Architect and own the A/B experimentation infrastructure.
