Job summary

Trideum Corporation is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to support Army Aviation programs at Redstone Arsenal, AL. You will design, develop, and sustain large-scale modeling and simulation toolsets for performance assessment of crewed and uncrewed aircraft.

Join a team delivering real-time simulation capabilities and distributed architectures, integrating models, tools, and interfaces, while applying Agile methodologies to government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or computer science/engineering.
• Experience implementing algorithms for system behavior modeling, mission logic, or sensor/avionics representation.
• Knowledge of real-time simulation frameworks and military simulation systems.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Agile software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modeling and simulation software for mission analysis and system performance assessments.
• Implement integration solutions to connect simulation software with other models, tools, and interfaces.
• Create and customize simulation models representing sensors, aircraft, and communication systems.
• Support Agile and Scrum processes throughout software development.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver modeling and simulation solutions for government customers.
• Coordinate interfaces and align development with systems engineering requirements.
