Coinflow in Chicago, IL is hiring an MLOps Engineer to own the platform that takes fraud, risk, and payments models from notebook to production.

You’ll build real-time serving, ML pipelines, and monitoring; ensure low latency, reliable fallbacks, and explainable models in a fast-growing payments environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in MLOps, ML infrastructure, or ML platform engineering.
• Experience with real-time inference in a transaction/path.
• Strong Python and production engineering habits; comfortable with TypeScript/Node.
• Hands-on with ML tooling and the judgment to know when not to use them.
• Solid infra skills: containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and at least one major cloud provider.
• Experience monitoring models in production: drift, calibration, and linking metrics to outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Model Serving: build and operate the inference layer with low latency.
• ML Pipelines & Feature Store: end-to-end training, validation and deployment pipelines.
• Model Deployment & Rollout: versioning, registries, canaries, rollbacks with evals gating.
• Monitoring & Drift Detection: track latency, score distributions, drift, and outcomes.
