Job summary

Amazon Security is building intelligent systems that secure AWS locations worldwide. You will deploy ML models for real-time security decisions at scale across regions, partnering with Applied Scientists and taking models from training to production in a fully automated environment.

You will design and operate low-latency, reliable distributed systems for model serving, implement IaC for ML infra, and monitor performance with engineering peers across security operations, hardware, and product

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development.
2+ years designing or architecting multi-tier systems.
Experience with ML fundamentals incl. training/inference lifecycles.
1+ years building distributed software using C#/C++/Java/Perl.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math.
Knowledge of ML model architecture and inference.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy ML models that automate real-time security decisions across AWS regions.
Partner with Applied Scientists to operationalize research into production pipelines.
Own the full ML model lifecycle: training, serving, monitoring, retraining.
Design low-latency, high-reliability distributed systems for model serving at scale.
Develop IaC for ML and application infra and monitor model performance in production.
Collaborate with security operations, hardware, and product teams to define requirements.
