Job summary

The successful candidate will assist in planning and coordinating all activities related to software requirements gathering, design, development and implementation of Sciaky Electron Beam Welding and Additive Manufacturing control and software systems. The developer will also be responsible for maintaining, supporting and upgrading existing systems and applications.

The candidate must be able to clearly communicate both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Controls/Automation.
Experience in software development, programming design and systems management.
Real-time system development and embedded considerations.

Responsibilities

Experience with TwinCAT real time development.
PLC, HMI industrial technology programming.
Strong knowledge of version control (Git or similar).
Strong communication and documentation skills; able to work in a team and handle high-stress situations.
Travel to client for installation, test, startup/commissioning and training.
Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly with high attention to detail.
