Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a senior imaging software engineer to implement and deploy the core real-time image processing for infrared systems. You will work on embedded and SWAP-limited hardware, ensuring rapid fielding of technologies and secure integration.

You will develop real-time pipelines in C++ and CUDA, learn Nix/NixOS for embedded systems, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Experience on Linux-based, low-latency/high-throughput systems.
• Familiarity in graphics programming or image processing.
• Experience testing and debugging firmware on hardware platforms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply your experience configuring Linux-based operating systems and developing terminal-based software.
• Develop real-time, high-bandwidth processing pipelines in C++ and/or CUDA.
• Define and implement test and simulation environments with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support end-to-end system delivery from design to deployment and sustainment.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
