Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer in Arlington, VA to design, develop, and integrate real-time signal processing software for an Electronic Warfare division. The role emphasizes GPU-based DSP algorithms, CUDA kernel development, and multi-core Linux/RTOS environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Engineering or CS and 8+ years in C/C++ software development, with NVIDIA tool experience and active Secret clearance (TS/SCI possible). Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 8+ years of software development experience with C/C++
  • Experience with real-time systems and open architectures (Big Iron or Cobra)
  • Experience with NVIDIA tools and libraries (Compute Sanitizer, NCU, cuBLAS, cuFFT, cuSOLVER, cuRAND)
  • Experience using version control (Git, Subversion) and CI tools (Jenkins)
  • Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement real-time signal processing algorithms on GPUs
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary system design and development
  • Achieve project objectives across multiple technical areas
  • Develop bespoke CUDA kernels for high performance
  • Design and test real-time C/C++ software for multi-core Linux/RTOS
  • Document developed systems and support field testing
  • Travel up to 10% as required
