Quantum Computing Inc. in Hoboken, NJ seeks an FPGA Design Engineer to join the Hardware team.

You will develop real-time FPGA-based algorithms and integrate multiple FPGAs for quantum devices, collaborating with quantum scientists and engineers across disciplines. The role requires 3–5 years of FPGA design experience, strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and familiarity with industry tools; a BS in EE/CE is required and an MS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of industrial FPGA design experience.
• Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and RTL design.
• Experience with FPGA development tools and lab equipment.

Responsabilités

• Develop real-time computational and digital algorithms and systems using FPGAs.
• Develop RTL code for use within multiple projects and optimize efficiency.
• Integrate multiple FPGAs and off-the-shelf hardware into the next-generation quantum device architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design quantum systems per customer requirements.
• Design, implement, simulate, and test the operation of FPGA logic and systems.
• Document architectures and test results in addition to source code.
