Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Columbia, MD. The role focuses on applying CS, engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop software for embedded real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, participate in all SDLC phases, and utilize multiple languages across Windows, Linux, and embedded OS environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS/CE/SE or related field.
• Strong programming skills across multiple languages.
• Experience with embedded/real-time systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply CS and math concepts to develop software for target application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to design interfaces between hardware and software.
• Support all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded real-time systems.
• Develop and document software test procedures and results.
