Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work on embedded real-time software for tactical radio equipment. You’ll apply CS and engineering concepts, collaborate across teams, and help design interfaces between hardware and software.

You will participate in all SDLC phases, develop test procedures, and use multiple programming languages across Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in computer science, computer engineering or related field at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Apply CS, engineering, and math concepts to develop software for target applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design interfaces between hardware and software.
• Support all phases of SDLC for embedded real-time software in tactical radio equipment.
• Develop test procedures and documentation; participate in peer reviews and defect repair.
• Utilize modeling tools to establish operating data and evaluate results.
