Job summary

CHIPTON-ROSS Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for an onsite contract opening in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and 8 years of experience, including 3+ years in real-time embedded software development using C/C++.

Responsible for all phases of software development, the selected individual will work Monday through Thursday on a 4/10 shift. An active SECRET security clearance is required. Experience with Linux/VxWorks and GitLab CI/CD Pipelines is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering AND 8 years of experience.
• 3+ years of Real-time embedded software development experience using C/C++ programming language.
• 3+ years of integration and test experience involving software and hardware.
• Active SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.
• Work Monday through Thursday 4/10A-1st Shift.
