Job summary

Expedition Technology (EXP) in Herndon, VA is seeking experienced software engineers with a DSP background to support IC/DoW programs. You will design and implement DSP and ML solutions for radar, EW, SIGINT, and RF geo-location, translating research into field-ready software.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and a BS in a technical field, with 5+ years of DSP experience. You will work on end-to-end systems with a fast-paced defense environment and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years of demonstrated DSP experience in IC/DoW environments.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to rapidly develop prototype DSP/ML concepts for operationalization.
• Experience with SIGINT-relevant DSP environments and real-time pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex signal processing solutions for defense and intelligence programs.
• Research and develop advanced DSP and ML algorithms for radar, EW, SIGINT, and RF geo-location.
• Create DSP/ML models to process data faster and more accurately.
• Transition DSP-based neural networks to field-ready real-time software.
• Adopt an end-to-end mindset covering collection, processing, deployment, and integration.
