LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Controls Software Engineer to develop control applications for AEROS EMS and Power Plant Controller platforms.

You will work with a principal engineer and a cross-functional team to apply power system fundamentals and software development skills to energy storage challenges. You will contribute to modeling, implementation, and testing, with mentorship as you build expertise in our systems and development practices.

Qualificações

• Power system fundamentals, three-phase AC, reactive power, voltage and frequency behavior.
• Ability to tune PI/PID controllers and interpret results.
• Hands-on programming experience in at least one language.
• Record, plot, and interpret engineering data to troubleshoot.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new controls concepts and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement control algorithms for battery energy storage systems.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain real-time control software in Linux using C++.
• Use AI-assisted tools with critical evaluation of outputs.
• Develop simulation models to analyze system behavior and evaluate control performance.
• Execute controls software tests in simulation and on lab/project-site systems.
