Job summary

FishEye Software, Inc. in Maynard, MA is seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to build high-performance software that processes and shares critical data across complex environments for defense initiatives.

This on-site role requires an Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship, a BS in Computer Science or related field, 3+ years of C++ experience, Linux, Agile methodologies, RTOS/embedded programming, and experience with Git, ClearCase or SVN.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on C++ software development experience.
Proficiency in Linux-based environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded programming.
Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, ClearCase or SVN.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test C++ software for real-time and embedded defense systems.
Participate in design, code reviews, and verification to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements, interfaces, and integration plans.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical challenges within multi-threaded and distributed systems.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in development tools, processes, and coding standards.
