Job summary

NFL is seeking an on-site RTS Engineer in California to support real-time graphics powering NFL Media digital graphics experiences across FAST channels and RedZone. You will work with Viz graphics workflows, ticker systems, L-Bar applications, and data integrations to ensure reliable on-air delivery.

Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting Viz graphics environments, maintaining RTS applications, and supporting major events like NFL Draft and Super Bowl coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years supporting broadcast graphics or real-time systems.
• Experience with Vizrt or similar real-time graphics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Viz graphics systems and supporting software environments.
• Support end-to-end graphics workflows for data-driven Viz graphics and ticker content.
• Maintain RTS applications, databases, APIs, and automation tools; validate data flow across services.
• Serve as frontline technical resource during live productions; diagnose and resolve issues.
• Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams for graphics delivery across platforms.
• Create and maintain technical docs, diagrams, and operational procedures; identify automation opportunities.
• Assist with prep, testing, deployment, and support for major events.
