Telestream in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Software Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our hybrid Engineering team. You will design and maintain backend components primarily in C++, with opportunities to contribute in Go and work on real-time media processing systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ with emphasis on multithreading and memory management.
• Interest in learning Go and contributing to Go-based services.
• Experience with Linux environments and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components using C++ with Go contributions.
• Build and extend a real-time system for processing live audio/video streams over the network.
• Address concurrency and timing constraints to ensure correctness and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA to implement features and improve functionality.
