Job summary

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) in Lakewood, CO seeks a Full-Time Professor with expertise in Real-Time Animation to advance teaching, curricular development, and co-curricular experiences. The faculty member will focus on teaching and expanding the Animation curriculum while guiding student learning and success.

The successful applicant will work with the Digital Arts + Media Department Chair and program leads, leveraging Maya, Unreal Engine, and Toon Boom tools, plus 2D/3D asset

Qualifications

• A graduate degree (MA, MS, MFA, MDes, or equivalent) in Animation, Game Art, Game Design, or related field.
• Proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D animation software such as Maya, Unreal Engine, Harmony, Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Evidence of inclusive teaching and ability to serve a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Teach a full instructional load across the Animation and Game Arts programs.
• Contribute to curricular development and co-curricular experiences.
• Advise students and participate in program committees.
