Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Real-Time Analyst Intern to join the Workforce Management team on-site in Grand Rapids, MI for Winter 2027 (January–April 2027). The role focuses on monitoring real-time performance, tracking call volume, and aiding staffing decisions to align with member demand.

Qualifications

• College student status with major in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3.0 GPA or greater.
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time service levels, queues, and performance metrics.
• Identify trends, risks, or service disruptions and communicate findings to leadership.
• Support staffing adjustments to meet changing member demand.
• Track adherence, attendance, and schedule variances affecting service levels.
• Analyze call spikes, outages, and other unexpected events.
• Provide data and reporting to support real-time decision-making.
• Collaborate with Workforce Management and Operations leaders to optimize resources.
• Gain experience with forecasting concepts and operational analytics.
