What’s the position?

We are looking for a sharp, structured, and strategically minded Manager for the Real-Time Analysis (RTA) team—a team responsible for protecting the sportsbook through live risk monitoring and early issue detection. This role leads the shift from reactive, individual bet monitoring to a smart, alert-based system that allows us to detect problems and act on opportunity as soon as they occur.

The RTA Manager will be responsible not just for operational oversight, but for building and nurturing a high-performing team across multiple time zones. This requires a strong commitment to structured people management, clear communication, and continuous feedback—especially in a remote, transcontinental environment where consistency, trust, and proactive leadership are essential.

The RTA team is the sportsbook’s first line of defense, flagging margin-negative behavior, pricing irregularities, exposure vulnerabilities, sharp customer patterns, and attempts to exploit technical or timing weaknesses. As manager, you will oversee alert development, triage logic, team workflows, and incident escalation protocols—ensuring that the sportsbook is protected 24/7 and decision-makers have the insights they need in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the RTA analyst team to consistently high performance across shifts and time zones, ensuring coverage and role clarity around the clock
• Build and maintain a structured 1:1 cadence with direct reports, incorporating continuous feedback, coaching, and measurable individual development plans
• Manage performance in a distributed environment by creating visibility, shared accountability, and real-time support frameworks across remote staff
• Foster a team culture that balances decisiveness with discipline—ensuring situational judgment, trading awareness, and communication standards remain high
• Oversee detection of sharp betting behavior, mispriced markets, SGP correlations, and suspicious customer activity—including feed/delay exploitation and past posting
• Direct real-time feedback loops with Core Trading and Player Profiling teams to adjust pricing or limits
• Lead the transition from manual review to structured alert-driven workflows; define and refine functional alert types that help the team spot issues faster
• Work closely with Sportsbook R&D to evolve alert tools and prioritization logic
• Own real-time incident handling playbooks—determining when to escalate, resolve internally, or log for post-event review
• Coordinate with Trading, Player Profiling, Event Control, and Compliance on real-time issues, risk mitigation, and post-event reviews
• Produce weekly team reports covering alert performance, sharp action trends, and internal interventions.
• Use reporting, data analysis, and feedback loops to improve alert logic and reduce false positives.
• Drive the development and adoption of RTA tooling with an emphasis on trader usability and operational responsiveness.
• Communicate clearly and confidently across departments, with the ability to present team findings, risk summaries, and escalation rationale to senior stakeholder
