Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Principal System Modeling & Simulation Engineer to design, develop, validate, and maintain dynamic simulations and real-time infrastructure for aerospace programs.

You will prototype simulation architectures, integrate 3D visualization, and lead efforts across a multi-disciplinary team to support rapid assessment, integration, testing, and sustainment of complex systems and software.

Qualifications

• Experience in system modeling and simulation for aerospace contexts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and work across multidisciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

• Architect and integrate system-level simulations across project lifecycles.
• Develop CONOPs, use cases, and requirements for simulations.
• Write and automate test plans for models and interfaces.
• Develop real-time hardware interfaces and integrate legacy software.
