Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Ads - Publisher Technology in Palo Alto, CA. You will design and build distributed services that process real-time bid requests at scale across web, mobile, STV, and audio inventory, contributing to publisher revenue.

Work across the ad serving stack—publisher integrations, auction mechanics, bidder protocols, privacy enforcement—and own features that affect publisher yield and advertiser outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture for distributed systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reliable, low-latency services that process real-time OpenRTB bid requests across global regions.
• Architect and evolve publisher integrations across web, mobile, STV, and audio inventory types.
• Build auction and pricing infrastructure that maximizes publisher yield while enforcing buyer controls, privacy regulations, and brand safety signals.
• Drive reliability and observability improvements across the ad serving stack, owning availability, latency, and correctness metrics end-to-end.
• Partner with engineers and product managers to deliver features that improve publisher yield and buyer experience.
