Qualifications

• Real estate sales and/or current real estate license (preferred).
• Extensive real estate experience, familiarity with titles, documents and legal descriptions.
• IRWA land use/acquisition courses (preferred).
• SR/WA designation (IRWA) (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree and/or real estate coursework.
• Ability to negotiate very complex transactions.
• Complex problem-solving skills.
• Maintain poise under stressful situations.

Position Summary

Responsible for acquiring real estate for infrastructure projects. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

• Prepare complex land acquisition forms and paperwork
• Understand current market value of subject land including appraisals

Required Experience

Working Conditions

Some work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Significant field work (50% or more) may be required where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
