Tessera is hiring a Real Property Inspector for Fort Stewart, GA. The role focuses on inspecting facilities, validating inventory, and entering results into the GFEBS Real Property Module RE80.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school education and be able to read addresses.
• Have at least 3 years of experience with real property accountability and GFEBS (RE80).
• Familiar with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Working knowledge of SAP applications for GFEBS report generation.
• Knowledge of the CFOA Act of 1990 and related audit requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Customer service oriented.
• Defense Driving Course (DDC) attendance prior to operating a Government vehicle.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct real property facility inspections per AR 405-45 requirements.
• Inspect facilities to validate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
• Collect, verify, and document facility information during inspections.
• Enter inspection results into GFEBS Real Property Module (RE80).
• Maintain electronic and hard-copy real property files.
• Update facility inspection records and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain hand receipt listings of assigned facilities.
• Support annual inspection goals and schedules.
• Prepare documentation for audit compliance.
• Coordinate with facility occupants and installation personnel during inspections.
• Operate government vehicles per installation policies.
• Maintain accountability for government-issued keys and key cards.
• Report lost or missing keys and key cards promptly.
• Provide monthly progress updates as requested.
• Perform other duties supporting the real property inventory program.
