Orion Placement is seeking an experienced Real Estate Title Examiner for an on-site role in Tonawanda, NY. You will review title searches, examine deeds and liens, and work closely with attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals to resolve title issues and ensure smooth closings.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of title examination experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment.

• 1+ year experience in real estate title examination.
• Strong knowledge of title examination, title insurance, and real estate transactions.
• Experience reviewing property records and identifying title defects and encumbrances.
• Familiarity with deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements and other recorded documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Tonawanda, NY.

Responsabilidades

• Examine deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, and other recorded property documents.
• Identify title defects, encumbrances, ownership issues, and other matters that may impact a transaction.
• Prepare title commitments, title reports, and related documentation.
• Type, review, and finalize title reports and title insurance policies.
• Work directly with attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals to research and resolve title issues.
• Apply New York title standards and recording requirements to ensure accurate and compliant work.
• Manage multiple title files, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
• Help keep transactions moving toward efficient and successful closings.

Location: This is a fully on-site position in Tonawanda, NY, offering the opportunity to work closely with the legal and real estate team in a collaborative office environment.

Note: Prior real estate title examination experience is required. Candidates must have at least 1 year of directly relevant title examination experience.
