Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a tax professional to join our Corporate Finance & Restructuring/Real Estate Solutions team in Atlanta. You’ll oversee day-to-day workflow of tax engagements for real estate clients, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.

You’ll grow technically and mentor junior staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex transactions. The ideal candidate holds a CPA, 5+ years of real estate tax experience, and is authorized to work in the United States; travel

Qualifications

• CPA license and 5+ years of real estate tax experience.
• Experience with debt funds or mortgage REITs preferred; willingness to travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; the employer will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of real estate tax engagements and client relationships.
• Lead tax professionals/assistants on client projects.
• Assess risk and financial performance of engagements.
• Advise clients on transactions and tax issues and deliver high quality tax service.
• Participate in training or development of tax content.
• Represent the firm in market and business activities externally.
