Job summary

EY is a leader in the global financial services industry. As a Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, you will design and execute scalable, technology-enabled tax processes, manage end-to-end provisions and reporting, and drive governance and compliance.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, navigate client relationships, manage budgets, and help grow the practice through business development. Travel may be required as part of delivering engagements in a balanced hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Typically, 5-7 years of real estate tax experience, within a professional services environment.
• CPA certification or be a member of a state bar.
• Extensive knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills.
• Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
• Business development within the market.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
• Ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects.
• Strong influencing skills and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own complex engagements from planning through closure, ensuring quality and risk management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships; oversee engagement economics and budgets.
• Develop resource plans and budgets; regular travel may be required based on client needs.
