Evercore’s Real Estate Strategic Advisory group in New York seeks an experienced Associate. You will handle strategic advisory and M&A projects, focusing on real estate. Responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and preparing CIMs while collaborating with senior bankers and partners.

Ideal candidates bring 2-3 years post-MBA experience, strong finance skills, and a drive to work on diverse real estate investments with a top-tier team in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience post MBA or Associate promotion.
• Interest in real estate investment banking, private equity, or finance.
• Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
• SIE, Series 79, Series 63 credentials.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide variety of projects (M&A, recapitalization, fund/direct transactions) as day-to-day lead for clients.
• Lead due diligence, analysis and underwriting of real estate transactions and fund managers; draft CIMs and marketing materials.
• Execute and supervise financial and valuation analyses and prepare client presentations.
• Supervise and guide junior team members on engagements.
