A legal firm in Hicksville is seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Settlement/Banking Paralegal to provide support throughout the real estate process. The candidate will prepare closing documents, conduct reviews of title reports, and communicate with clients, brokers, and attorneys. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a paralegal, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in document management. This position offers a dynamic working environment and opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• Previous experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and real estate.

Mansioni

• Prepare closing documents, including CD's, HUDs, Settlement Statements.
• Ensure that all documents are well organized.
• Conduct review of title reports and balancing of closing figures.
• Communicate with clients, brokers and attorneys.
• Maintain and update documentation.

Conoscenze

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized with document management experience

Excellent research skills

Comfortable with Microsoft Office

Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Formazione

Certification or Associates Degree as a Paralegal
