HDR is seeking a Real Estate Services Agent II to join our Sioux Falls/Rapid City team. You will perform pre‑negotiation due diligence, review appraisals, verify ownership, and help prepare offer packages for rights acquisitions on public or private projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of real estate, right‑of‑way, title, relocation, or property management experience.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with management and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of federal/state/industry laws and relocation regulations (FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, NEPA, FERC).
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with clients and owners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑negotiation due diligence and negotiate acquisition rights for public or private projects.
• Review appraisals and research properties; QC Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations.
• Verify ownership and prepare offer packages; maintain detailed records with contacts and project team.
• Prepare maps and exhibits to aid negotiations.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients; manage time and organization.
• Lead/manage a project team, budget, and schedule; oversee subconsultants.
• Coordinate with client and owner’s legal counsel as needed; travel as required.
• Read, review and ensure compliance with federal/state guidelines and relocation regulations.
