Job summary

AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a Paralegal for its client’s Real Estate Practice Group in Chicago. The role supports acquisitions, dispositions, and financing for a national and global clientele, including complex leasing and development matters.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, independence and initiative. Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, preparing closing checklists, and coordinating with title, survey, and lenders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of real estate transactional and finance experience.
• Strong communication and technical skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and purchase/sale agreements as part of closings.
• Prepare closing checklists and track critical dates.
• Review title, survey, and zoning; clear title matters.
• Prepare and review closing documents and estoppels/SNDAs.
• Coordinate closings with clients, title companies and lenders.
