Job summary

Prologis invites enthusiastic students to join its Summer Internship Program in Columbia for a 10–12 week, hands-on experience. Interns will collaborate with the RECX and Operations Construction Management teams to track capital projects, budgets, and vendor communications while gaining exposure to AI-enabled process improvements.

You will interact with company leaders, participate in seminars, and experience local market tours to understand Prologis' business and its impact on operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, pursuing studies aligned with the internship
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Clear verbal and written communication with attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team and a willingness to learn
• Prior exposure to AI/automation is a plus but not required

The Prologis Summer Internship Program offers students of diverse educational backgrounds the opportunity to secure work experience within their field of study.

Over a course of 10-12 weeks, our interns will get to collaborate on various significant projects that impact Prologis' business landscape. Students will have the opportunity to interact and connect with leaders within the company and build workplace acumen through various seminars and Q&A sessions. Regardless of their assigned departments, interns will have access to local market tours in order to fully comprehend Prologis' business and how their summer contributions impact the end product.

A day in the life

You will primarily support the Real Estate and Customer Experience (RECX) team in Columbia and partner with the Operations Construction Management (OCM) team to track capital projects and budgets. Your work will also include coordinating vendor communications, supporting customer communications related to utility data collection and facilities management reporting, reviewing inspection tickets, organizing files, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes using technology and AI.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the Operations Construction Management team with capital project and budget tracking.
• Coordinate vendor communications related to project work.
• Assist RECX with customer communications about utility data collection, facilities management tickets, and quarterly reports.
• Review quarterly inspection tickets and support data cleanup and file organization.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes using technology or AI.

Building blocks for success

Required:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior, or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Ability to collaborate as part of a team and willingness to learn.

Preferred:

• Experience with project tracking, data organization, customer or vendor communications, or process improvement.
• Interest or project experience using AI or automation to streamline recurring work.
• Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

Hiring Salary Range of:

• Undergraduate: $25-$30 per hour.
• Graduate: $35-$40 per hour.
