Job summary

McBride Executive Search is seeking a Real Estate/Litigation Paralegal to support a corporate legal operations team in Santa Monica, CA. The role blends commercial real estate knowledge with litigation support, handling notices, due diligence, and enforcement matters.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate, with a strong background in landlord/tenant issues and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved school required.
• 3+ years law firm or in-house paralegal experience.
• Strong background in real estate law, preferably with litigation and commercial landlord/tenant experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal notices (default, demand, termination, relocation, abandonment).
• Correspond with tenants/attorneys to resolve disputes and AR issues.
• Negotiate and document settlement agreements.
• Conduct due diligence reviews of commercial leases (co-tenancy, CAM).
• Evaluate relocation rights, radius restrictions, exclusive use clauses, termination rights.
