Taylor Root is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a growing legal team on a contract-to-hire basis. The role focuses on real estate litigation, dispossessory matters, and general civil litigation from filings through hearings and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant paralegal experience, with strong organizational skills and a track record of managing high-volume landlord-tenant and property-related cases.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Experience supporting real estate litigation and dispossessory/eviction matters is required.
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, real estate litigation procedures, and court processes.
• Experience managing high-volume real estate and dispossessory caseloads.
• Knowledge of electronic filing procedures and litigation case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in real estate litigation matters, including landlord-tenant disputes and commercial property disputes.
• Review leases, contracts, property records, and other real estate-related documents to support ongoing litigation.
• Coordinate filings, hearings, and case management for real estate and dispossessory matters.
• Assist with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other proceedings impacting real property interests.
