Compass International Holdings is seeking experienced Litigation Counsel to join the Real Brokerage Litigation Team supporting brokerages including Compass, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Corcoran, Christie’s International Real Estate, Sotheby’s International Realty, and @properties.

This attorney will manage a diverse litigation docket involving real estate brokerage matters and protect the company’s interests across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• JD Degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience.
• California Bar Admission.
• Experience with real estate brokerage matters is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Handle all aspects of real estate brokerage litigation from inception through trial or settlement.
• Litigate a personal docket of civil litigation matters and supervise outside counsel on selected matters.
• Prepare and defend company witnesses at deposition and depose adverse parties.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research on complex issues and develop strategic recommendations.
• Represent the company in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, trials and regulatory proceedings.
• Manage a docket of cases outside of CA handled by outside counsel.
