Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) is required.
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience or equivalent education and training.
• Ability to interpret complex documents and respond to sensitive inquiries.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Proficiency in electronic legal research tools.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in legal, administrative, and other proceedings.
• Research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Prepare lawsuits based on investigations of facts and applicable laws.
• Draft and review legal briefs, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Develop strategies and arguments for case presentations.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve complex issues.
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to firm marketing efforts.
