Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Michigan.
• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to professionalism and client service excellence.
• Successful completion of background, credit, and drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Analyze case files to determine appropriate legal actions.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during litigation.
• Research laws and prepare legal opinions and case strategies.
• Maintain accurate records using case management software.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including the FDCPA.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and court staff.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

Skills

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
