Job summary

Adi Development Group seeks an Analyst to join its Investments team, supporting underwriting, diligence, and asset management for acquisitions and development. You will build financial models, run scenarios, and prepare memos for Investment Committee while coordinating with senior members and cross-functional teams.

The role offers exposure to live transactions across North America, with growth toward Associate for high performers.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in real estate private equity or related analytical roles.
• Exposure to development or multifamily underwriting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or related field.
• CAIA/CFA candidate viewed favorably.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, development, and value-add multifamily across Canadian and US markets.
• Support underwriting on sources & uses, development budgets, lease-up assumptions, debt sizing, waterfall mechanics, and LP/GP returns.
• Maintain the deal pipeline tracker and prepare preliminary screens for review by senior team members.
• Coordinate and synthesize third-party due diligence and project reporting, including appraisals and market studies.
• Build and update joint venture waterfall and partner economic models under senior team guidance.
• Maintain CTD and CTC model updates across the active development portfolio with actuals and variance flags.
• Prepare model outputs, return scenarios, and analysis for capital raising and LP materials.
• Prepare lender models, covenant testing schedules, and term sheet analyses for debt workstreams.
• Run sensitivity and scenario analyses to support investment theses.
• Draft Investment Committee memo sections and supporting exhibits.
• Conduct market research and comparable analysis across active jurisdictions.
• Partner with development, construction, and property management teams to validate inputs.
