Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Fund Accounting Director in Dallas to lead the strategic direction of fund accounting activities, manage a team of accountants, and ensure accuracy of financial reporting for assigned portfolios.

You will review fund statements, oversee capital requests and budgeting, handle fund structuring, coordinate year‑end audits, and collaborate with clients and internal partners to deliver high‑quality work on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Experience with complex real estate funds and consolidations is required.
• GAAP and FASB knowledge with LPAs understanding is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review fund financial statements and provide strategic insights.
• Oversee budgeting, capital requests, and contracts.
• Manage fund structuring, subscriptions, and redemption terms.
• Coordinate year-end audits and external inquiries.
• Lead and develop a team of accountants; ensure deadlines are met.
