Job summary

Atlantic Group is seeking a Staff Accountant (Real Estate) in Montgomery County, PA to support fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment accounting across a private real estate platform. The role offers exposure to fund, investment, and property accounting while supporting financial close, capital activity, audits, and portfolio reporting.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, GL management, and month-end close.
Industry knowledge: Real estate, private equity, fund accounting, or real estate clients preferred with GAAP knowledge.
Technical: Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting/ERP systems preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities; multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Fund accounting: assist with accounting and financial reporting for private real estate funds and related entities.
Financial reporting: prepare monthly/quarterly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
Capital activity: record capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and fund transactions.
Audit & tax support: coordinate requests and assist with tax reporting with external providers.
Investment accounting: track investment activity and ensure accurate portfolio recording.
