The ideal candidate has 3+ years of litigation experience, familiarity with FDCPA/RESPA/TILA, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active SC law license in good standing.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance/real estate litigation.
• Experience with foreclosure, bankruptcy, evictions is a plus; willingness to learn otherwise.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA is beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation caseload from referral through disposition, settlement, or verdict.
• Attend court hearings and conduct discovery as needed.
• Prepare and review pleadings, discovery requests, orders, and client communications.
• Address title issues, curative actions, and real property concerns.
• Provide legal advice and research applicable statutes and case law.
