Job summary

Dean Mead's Orlando office is seeking a Real Estate Finance Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its established Real Estate Department. You will represent banks and lenders in commercial real estate lending and related transactions across Florida, managing matters from due diligence through closing and coordinating with lenders, borrowers, title companies, and counsel.

The role offers exposure to acquisitions, development, leasing, and related matters within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant transactional legal experience.
• Experience with commercial real estate lending or secured transactions, preferably on the lender side.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial loan and real estate documents.
• Familiarity with title, survey, and other real estate due diligence.
• Familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Code.
• Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines with responsive client service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice law in Florida and good standing with The Florida Bar.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan and collateral documents.
• Manage commercial loan transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Review title commitments, surveys, and other due diligence materials.
• Address issues affecting lender, collateral, or closing.
• Interact with banks, lenders, borrowers, title companies, and counsel.
• Assist with acquisition financing, construction loans, refinancings, and extensions.
• Provide practical, responsive counsel throughout the transaction.
• Opportunity to work on other real estate matters.
