Job summary

Hawkstone Search represents a leading Am Law 100 firm with a national real estate finance practice and a strong platform for growth. The role focuses on managing complex real estate financings for institutional lenders from inception through closing.

You will draft loan documents, review due diligence materials, and coordinate with borrowers’ counsel and clients. A JD and bar admission are required, with 2–5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial real estate finance experience, ideally representing institutional lenders
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents and managing financings through closing
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Large regional, national or international law firm experience preferred

About the Practice

An Am Law 100 firm with a large, nationally recognized real estate practice, named one of Vault's top 10 firms for real estate law and recognized by Legal 500 for real estate finance. The Real Estate Finance team acts for institutional lenders, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds and debt funds, on construction, bridge, permanent, mezzanine, syndicated and securitized financings across every major asset class. The group works alongside the firm's land use, construction and litigation teams, with an active loan modification and workout practice, so associates see deals from every angle.
