Job summary

The Sobrato Organization is seeking a Development Associate in Mountain View, CA to join a collaborative team advancing commercial and multifamily projects in the SF Bay Area. The role supports feasibility studies, financial modeling, and asset management across the development lifecycle.

Hybrid work schedule, full-time, with responsibilities spanning entitlements, design coordination, budgeting, and market analysis to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 3–5 years of real estate development related experience.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, pro forma, and underwriting.
• Knowledge of development lifecycle and entitlement processes.
• Proficient with MS Office; Argus a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility, financial modeling, and capitalization planning across development projects.
• Assist with project plans, budgets, schedules, and asset management activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, lenders, and internal teams to advance projects.
