Qualifications

  • Advanced education or professional certification a plus.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced environments, understanding complex legal documents, and knowledge of real estate finance, public finance, or project finance.

  • Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly reports summarizing project progress and pro forma for senior management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with project team members, consultants, and city officials.

Real Estate Development Associate

Position: Associate Director D, Facilities

Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist the Development Director with analysis, management, and coordination of all projects, ensuring milestones are achieved and coordination with development, construction, and operations teams.
  • Preparation of internal and external deliverables for development presentations and business plans for Senior Management approval.
  • Procurement: Draft and manage RFPs, compile results, prepare presentations and analysis, and make recommendations.
  • Financial Planning: Coordinate due diligence and transactional documentation for acquisition and financing, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and facilitate document/information flow for committee presentations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing regular monthly or quarterly reports summarizing project progress, issues, pro forma, schedule, etc., for senior management.
  • Network Development: Build and maintain relationships with project team members, real estate consultants, city officials, and other stakeholders.
  • Operations: Assist with the oversight of the Arts and Cultures program at the Rotunda on an as‑needed basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in any subject and at least 5‑7 years of experience strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced education or professional certification a plus.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced environments, understanding complex legal documents, and knowledge of real estate finance, public finance, or project finance.
  • Prior experience covering the full range of development responsibilities from conceptualization/planning, through site planning and zoning, to construction management.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team‑oriented yet self‑starting, ability to work independently, and high ethical standards.
