Job summary

Highlands Vista Group, a Denver-based real estate owner and operator, seeks a Corporate Accountant to join HVG CO Overhead in Denver, CO. The role focuses on corporate and hotel accounting, treasury processing, and analytics for multiple entities.

You will manage month-end close, prepare bank reconciliations, and support external tax accountants with annual reporting and ad hoc requests in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or real estate accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or commensurate experience.
• Treasury experience with online banking platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service oriented skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Yardi experience is a plus and MS Office proficiency.
• Can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Month end close for corporate entities and hotels (journal entries, bank reconciliations).
• Handle sales and use tax filings.
• Review and process treasury requests (including wires and ACHs).
• Provide annual reporting and ad hoc requests to external tax accountants.
• Conduct analytics on cash, procurement, and bank fees.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
