Job summary

The State of Illinois, Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, seeks a Real Estate Professions Examiner. You will conduct examinations of real estate brokerage entities, auction firms, or community association managers, and prepare formal reports for supervisory review.

Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting findings, and coordinating corrective actions with regulated entities. Travel to on-site meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years of college with coursework in accounting, business, finance or related fields.
• Requires 3 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing, business or finance.
• Active license in good standing as Real Estate Broker, Managing Broker, State Certified Real Estate Appraiser, Auctioneer, or Community Association Manager.

Responsibilities

• Serve as independent examiner in charge of real estate brokerage, auction or community association management examinations.
• Prepare written comprehensive examination reports and coordinate follow-up actions with leadership.
