Job summary

Royster and Royster, PLLC, Attorneys at Law in Pilot Mountain, NC seeks a highly organized Legal Assistant to manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing.

The role requires strong communication, top-notch attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines while delivering exceptional client service. Interaction with clients, lenders, agents, and title companies is frequent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate closings or related support fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain residential and commercial real estate files.
• Review purchase contracts and related transaction documents.
• Order and review title examinations, surveys, payoffs, and other due diligence materials.
• Prepare title commitments, title opinions, and closing documents as directed by the attorney.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, surveyors, and title underwriters.
• Schedule and coordinate real estate closings and communicate status updates.
