Job summary

ColRich, a real estate, construction and investment firm based in San Diego, seeks a Capital Markets Associate to support oversight of the investment portfolio and lead key analytical, reporting, and investor-facing workflows. The role covers assigned markets, evaluating performance, liquidity, distributions, financing, valuation, and emerging risks.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in real estate finance, investment analysis, asset management, or capital markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling skills, able to build, modify, and audit complex models.
• Strong real estate investment concepts knowledge: cash-flow forecasting, valuation, IRR and equity multiples.
• Ability to identify business questions, perform appropriate analyses, and present clear conclusions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, and multi-workstream management.
• Ability to review junior team members’ work and provide direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio and investment oversight for assigned markets and investments.
• Evaluate performance, liquidity, distributions, financing, valuation, and risks.
• Translate property performance into investment conclusions with senior stakeholder input.
• Run day-to-day reporting, coordinate deadlines, and review Analyst work.
• Maintain and improve portfolio and valuation tools; perform ad hoc analyses.
• Draft investment updates, investor memos, and presentations.
• Support investor meetings with valuations, portfolio analyses, and briefing materials.
